Write A Letter In A Cool Font

Type in an attractive font to bring something additional to your letter.

Type your letter in the default font. Include recipient address and enclosures if applicable. Include your address, the date, a greeting, the body of the letter, a closing and space for your handwritten signature whether writing a casual letter or a business letter.

Instructions

1. Create a new document in your word-processing program.

2.When writing a letter to a friend or relative, you may want to include an extra level of creativity that the content alone does not provide. An unusual font will bring a new element of visual interest to your letter -- one that will be seen as soon as the paper is unfolded. You can do this quickly and easily, but keep in mind the context of your letter and the level of readability that your chosen font will provide. A cool font isn't any use if you can't read it. Add a post script if necessary. Save your document.

3. Hit "Ctrl + A" to highlight all text on the page or select only the text you want to put in a different font.

4. Select a font from the formatting toolbar. Try Chiller, Juice ITC or Bauhaus 93. If you're not happy with your first choice, scroll through to see the many options.
