Cut Foam Board To Size

Instructions


1. Degree the foam board and make marks with a pencil where part of it needs to be removed.


2. Secure the foam board in a vice so the cutting areas are easily accessible. This is not necessary, but will ensure the board does not move during cutting.


3. Place the ruler or straight edge along where the board needs to be cut and make the first incision with the craft knife so the blade cuts through the card stock only. Make sure the blade of the knife is very sharp to create the cleanest cut.


4. Make a second cut where the knife just goes through the foam, then turn over the board and make a final cut through the second layer of card.Foam board is a data prepared from expanded polystyrene covered with two layers of thick card.
