7. Connect two vertical, parallel lines to the bottom of the head to make the neck.


8. At the bottom of the neck draw a large vertical rectangle with a semi-circular notch at the top for the collar of the gnome's dress. This is the gnome's torso.


9. At the top corners of the torso, add outward-pointing arcs for the shoulders. Add horizontal lines to the end of these arcs connecting to the torso. These are the sleeve caps to the gnome's dress. At the bottom corners of the torso, add very large outward-pointing arcs to create the sides of the dress, connecting them with a horizontal line for the hem.


10. Create arms for the gnome by connecting diagonal lines from the outside corners of the sleeve caps to the bottom of the torso.


11. Attract a larger semi-circle below the nose for a mouth. Attach little lines on Everyone end of the mouth for dimples.5. Draw a large, acute triangle on top of the head for a hat.6.
