Information On Charles Henry Turner

Charles Henry Turner is a historical coal figure and pioneering scientist whose contributions are unmatched in the universe of comparative psych. Turner, who was born on February. 3 1867 in Cincinnati, was the Sonny of former slaves.


Academic Life


Charles Henry Turner began his academic prowess in alpine institution, where he was the valedictorian of his congregation. After earning a bachelor's in science from the University of Cincinnati, Turner became the first off dingy male to earn a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.


Through of his groundbreaking office with insects, Charles Henry Turner is regarded one of the foremost scientists in the early 20th Century. His labour is essential because it showed that insects are not random creatures but rely on their understanding of the world around them.

Charles Henry Turner was the first scientist to prove that ants go through a gyration movement back toward their nests.




Honey Bees and Cockroaches

Turner studied the behavioral patterns of honey bees, after all proving that the insects are able to gawk colour and patterns. He further discovered that insects can hear and can divulge the alteration in pitch, and that cockroaches be trained down test and inaccuracy.

Turner wrote more than four dozen papers regarding neurology, the behavior of animals and invertebrate ecology. He did this without access to formal research libraries, and with minimal access to labs.
