1. Erase any of the original circle and lines.3. Lightly draw a six-pointed star with a circle in the center as the start of a daffodil. In a darker line, make the edges of the center circle wavy and uneven. In the same darker line, make the points of the star irregular, drooping a little to the side with curved lines. Erase the original star and circle lines to leave the basic form of a daffodil.
4. Draw an oval for the start of a basic tulip. Draw another oval that touches the bottom of the outer oval and takes up most of the inside of the first oval. Draw two lines at the top of the second oval, going outward until they touch the line of the first oval. This creates the look of multiple petals in a tulip bud. Draw a stem attached to the base of the oval, by simply drawing two parallel lines from the base.
