There are programs that sponsor grants to finance housing interpretation projects. These grants can be used to obtain land, demolish inhabitable structures and renovate existing housing buildings. Relocation programs for displaced residents can as well be supported by grant method. These housing interpretation grants are not required to be repaid by recipients.
HOPE VI Program
The Endurance VI programme provides grants to regular housing authorities (PHAs) to revitalize areas of low resources residents. Sponsored by the Branch of Housing and Urban Augmentation (HUD), grants from the Aspiration VI programme are used to finance interpretation and renovation projects of popular housing units which combine demolishing severely distressed buildings. Grants can as well be used to buy land for off-site interpretation. Residents displaced by the demolition of housing units can admit relocation advantage from limited utility programs. Buoyancy VI programme grants are available one to PHAs and tribal housing agencies.

Farm Labor Housing Loans and Grants
The Branch of Agriculture (USDA) way the Farm Labour Housing Loans and Grants programme. Grants from this programme are used to construct and renovate housing units that are occupied by seasonal and year-long farm labourers. Facilities such as laundromats, dining areas, immature infirmaries and daycare centres that can be used by farm workers are constructed using grant way. Eligible applicants add typical and private nonprofit organizations, society and resident polity agencies, nonprofit corporations of farm workers and individuals who exigency funds to complete necessary construction projects. Housing units can only be occupied by farm laborers who are U.S. citizens and make a large part of their income from farming.

Community Entitlement Grants
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) sponsors the Community Entitlement grants program, which provides financial awards to construct and renovate homes, housing units and other buildings to revitalize eligible areas. Funds can also be used to acquire land, construct and renovate public facilities such as water and sewer systems and support activities that help businesses create and retain jobs.
