Instructions
They should be approximately 1 1/2 inches Broad and approximately 8 inches extensive. Dunk the strips in to the paper mache adhesive and clean off excess paste with your fingers. Place the strip on your balloon. Completely cover the balloon with newspaper paste strips and then do it again a second time.
2. In a bowl combine the flour and the bathe and blend thoroughly. This is your paper mache cement. It Testament be a petite runny.
3. Reduce up your newspaper in to strips.1. Blow up a balloon and tie it shut. This is the representation of your spider.
4. Set your balloon out to dry overnight.
5. Paint the balloon black like a spider and allow it to dry.
6. Tape 3 to 4 pipe cleaners to each side of the spider creating spider legs. Bend the pipe cleaners in to a spider like position.
7. Use your construction paper to add details to your spider. You can give your spider some white fangs or white eyes. You can even cut out an hourglass for the spiders back which would make the spider a black widow. If you have google eyes you can use those. Whatever you cut out or decide to use glue it on to the spider.
8. Tie a long piece of yarn around your spider. Tie the top end to a ceiling fan or curtain rod. You can position your spider to look like it is climbing up your curtain.
