Troubleshooting A Hunter Proc Timer

An irrigation timer keeps the yard watered on a locate timetable.


The Hunter Pro-C residential irrigation controller governs the utility of your local's all-inclusive irrigation manner. The Pro-C can accomodate up to 12 irrigation valves or stations. Stations can be programmed to life off at the alike bit or at disparate times. Unplug the Huntsman timer and pull up the irrigation valve manifold lid and distance it to the side, provided a valve doesn't respond to Pro-C timer activation. The wiring might be defective. Confirm that the color-coded irrigation wire and the valve wire are stripped of insulation at least a half inch at the tips.

Instructions

1. Twist the wires well-organized and twist the watertight splice connector back onto the pairing.


2. Unplug the Huntsman Pro-C from the competence Issue and plug it back in to reset the connexion, provided the arrayal isn't illuminated. Look the bent cord for damage. Whether any dings, frays or cuts are spotted, exchange the influence cord.


3. Ajar the front panel of the Pro-C to expose the timer wiring, provided the unit displays the misconception communication, "No AC." Fix the AC terminals in the upper left corner. Confirm that the two craven wires of the power cord are snuggly connected to the two AC terminals and that the grassy wire is connected to the GND terminal. Speedy the front panel.


4. Pull up the irrigation valve lid and inspect the wiring for the listed valve, if the unit displays an error message, such as "2 Err." The "2" indicates the station number. Inspect the second valve or the valve that is assigned or connected to the second station. If the wiring is intact, disconnect the wires, unscrew the solenoid and replace it with a new solenoid. Twist the irrigation wire and the new solenoid wire together and replace the watertight splice connector.


5. Turn the controller dial to the "Set Station Run Time" to check each station run time, if a start time isn't set for one or more stations. Press the back button on the front panel to cycle through the various station times. If a station appears without a start time, then press the "-" or "+" buttons to set a start time. Turn the controller dial to "Run" to set the schedule in motion.
