Balloon modeling is as merry for the artist as it is for the audience, twisting and turning guideline balloons into boisterous shapes and animals. If you are honorable learning the basics of balloon modeling or are an experienced sculptor, you and your audience Testament appreciation a balloon stegosaurus.
Instructions
1. Inflate a long green balloon so that it is about 1 1/2 feet long, leaving the excess balloon at the end. As you are creating your basic balloon animals, squeeze the inflated portion to push the extra towards the end, making twisting easier.
2. Twist 3 small 1-inch bubbles into the knotted end of the balloon. Double the first 2 bubbles over and twist them together with the first bubble. You should now see the head and ears of your stegosaurus, the knot of the balloon becoming the animal's ears.
3. Make 3 more bubbles, just slightly bigger than those used to create the head. Push the bubble chain down until it is below the body bubble, and then twist the entire portion so that the bubble chain is face up, creating the animal's armor.6. Use the excess balloon to create the hind legs by twisting a 2-inch bubble, folding the extra balloon up and twisting again at the top of the bubble to create an equally sized bubble, finishing your balloon stegosaurus.
Make sure that you put plenty of twists after each bubble to prevent them from popping open. Loop your bubble chain so that the first and last bubble touch, and then secure the loop with a twist.
5. Fold the chain bubble loop up towards the neck of your stegosaurus and place the space between the third and fourth bubble into the space between the neck and the body. Again, double the last 2 and twist with the first to create the animal's neck and a pair of basic front legs.4. Create the body of your stegosaurus by twisting a 2-inch bubble and then make a chain of 6 1-inch or smaller bubbles.
