The jitterbug is one of the public dances that came absent of the early twentieth century and refers to a cross-section of swing dances such as the jive, the Lindy hop and the West Seaside swing. 5. Step in place in quick step. The woman uses her right foot, while the man uses his left foot.
6. Repeat the steps for the duration of the song to properly dance the jitterbug.
