Draw A Dalmatian Dog

Instructions

Add two small circles inside the egg for nostrils.7. Sketch an ear each side of the animal's head. Add a triangle at the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock position on the head to illustrate these.


5. Create a fuller outline for the Dalmatian by connecting the shapes together. Use the shapes as a framework and sketch around the outer edge of them. Look at your picture so you can add form, contours and dimension to the dog. For example, pad out the legs by drawing a sausage shape around the outside of each of the lines representing the legs.


6. Detail the features of the Dalmatian's face. Show that it protrudes outward by adding a jaw line. This consists of two semi-circles at the base of the circle. Sketch the nose as an egg-shape with the pointed egg facing downwards.4. Sketch two lines to represent the dog's legs. Each line goes from the base of the top oval, overlaps the edge of the bottom oval and out the other side. Add a circle onto the end of each line for the paw.



8. Complete the drawing by adding the Dalmatian's spot to its body. Use a random variety of shapes to represent these. The Dalmatian's spot are not exactly circular, so make sure you include patches of black, rather than dots.
