New York Spanish Dance Night Clubs

Contemporary York Spanish Dance Night Clubs

Latest York, mainly Dewy York Conurbation, is noted for its nightlife too as its many club scene. Latin style clubs are popular in the NYC area and, as with most New York clubs on the weekends, often you can dance and salsa until 4:00 in the morning. Many of the clubs mix in other genres with the Spanish beats, although the Latin music clearly takes precedence.

LQ Nightclub

LQ Nightclub, located on Lexington Avenue in New York City, mixed Chinese influences with Latin and is a new addition to the club scene. The club is open from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., and D.J. Rob Flow melds hip hop, house and 80's music with a Latin flair for the club goers. The club incorporates five different areas to appease all guests, such as a singles bar, a recessed dance floor, a downstairs lounge, a VIP area under Chinese-style marble arches and a second VIP lounge upstairs. The club also offers dinner, with a menu that fuses Chinese and Latin foods.

Gonzalez y Gonzalez Nightclub

The Gonzalez y Gonzalez Nightclub, located in NYC on Broadway between Houston and Bleecker Street, boasts a heavy college scene and a reputation for margaritas. The club features salsa bands on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and an on-site Mexican restaurant. On weekends and Tuesdays, men must be 25 to enter, and women must be 21. The club is 18-plus on Thursdays.

The Copacabana, located at the corner of 34th Street and 11th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, can accommodate up to 4,000 Latin dancing enthusiasts. If you are not confident in your dancing skills, the club offers on-site Latin dancing lessons from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The club is open from 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday and 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on weekends. The club typically draws an older crowd, and tee-shirts, boots and sneakers are not permitted. The bands play a combination of salsa, merengue, bachata and reggaeton. There is never a cover, but there is a dress code that forbids sneakers, boots, baggy clothes, team jerseys and hats. The club is open Thursdays from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
